Campaign Details Name: Tropical Cloud Systems & Processes Dates: 01 July - 28 July 2005 Location: Pacific Ocean, Carribean Sea, & Central America Principal Investigators: Dr. Gerry Heymsfeld (NASA GSFC) Additional Sensors: AMPR, CRS, EDOP, HAMSR, LIP, MTP Objective: TCSP is focused on the study of the dynamics and thermodynamics of precipitating cloud systems and tropical cyclones using NASA-funded aircraft and surface remote sensing instrumentation.
